I used Snapchat and how it really aims to get you to send as many snaps as you can. The interface is very vivid and bright and really draws your eye. When you get a new snap it is at the top and all of them have time stamps. It lets you know when you got a new snap and how long you have been lacking. It can be very useful but really gives you that, ” hey you’ve been ignoring this person or app for 45 minutes.” It also really encourages you to explore snap stories because it is always glowing and with the implementation of ads, they make some revenue by having you go through your friends stories and hitting you with an ad out of no where. Most icons on the app are kept clean and white or black, but when their is some sort of intended interaction it is colored and encouraged for you to check it out. It also gives special attention to certain friends and groups by adding special emojis to show who has priority and tells you who your best friends are even though that label may be completely off.
